Lessons at Truehart Suzuki Strings
Students at Truehart Violin Studios receive 35 individual lessons and 18 group lessons between August and May of each school year. Lessons are available for students ages four to adult. Tuition may be paid at the beginning of each semester or in ten monthly installments. Summer lesson packages are also available.
Individual Lessons
Individual lessons are held weekly at Truehart Violin Studios and are tailored to each individual student’s goals, ability level, and learning style. All lessons are taught using the Suzuki methodology, and violin lessons are supplimented with the Step by Step series by Kerstin Wartberg. Students will also study traditional scales and etudes as they advance. As parent participation is a large part of the success of the Suzuki method, all students under the age of 12 are required to have a parent in attendance ready to actively participate during all violin lessons and group classes.
Group Classes
Group class is our favorite time of the week at Truehart Suzuki Strings! Group classes are held on Thursday evenings, and attendance is required for all students in addition to individual violin lessons. Group class provides important opportunites for students to work on ensemble skills and theory skills as well as connecting socially with other young musciains. Group classes are held on a bi-weekly basis. Tuition and fees at Truehart Suzuki Strings include nine group classes per semester.
Lesson Rates
All students receive 35 lessons between August and May with weeks off for holidays and school breaks.
All packages require a $65 registration fee to cover group facilities and recital fees.
30 min lesson package
Monthly payments of $105 or semester payments of $525
Students who register for this package receive one 30 min individual lesson per week and a group class every other week. Lessons run 35 weeks between August and May.
45 min lesson package
Monthly Payments of $158 or semester payments of $788
Students who register for this package receive one 45 min individual lesson per week and a group class every other week. Lessons run 35 weeks between August and May.
60 min lesson package
Monthly payments of $210 or semester payments of $1050
Students who register for this package receive one 60 min individual lesson per week and a group class every other week. Lessons run 35 weeks between August and May
Interested in Summer Lessons?
Summer Lesson are more flexible at Truehart Violin Studios. Summer session runs for eight weeks, and you can choose just the weeks you want. Students who take at least four summer lessons receive priority registration for the fall semester. Summer lessons are billed on June 1st and July 1st, and cost $60 an hour.
